10,000 names is a lot of names

It seems like not so long ago that we were celebrating the 5000th citation ready to go into the first edition of the Dictionary. And it was only a few months before that that I put down my modest goals for the first edition: 500 entries, 1000 citations.
We’ve reached and exceeded the former goal, and as of a few minutes ago, we’ve better our second goal by a factor of 10: The 10,000th citation has just been finalized.
It is for the spelling Uualdgarii, a Latin genitive of Waltger, dated to 864 in Hamburg, and it, along with 9,999 of its cousins, can be found in the first edition when it is published next month.
